2005 Topps All Star Stitches Bob Wickman Card?
Does this baseball card exist and if so where can I purchase this card?
It is not on Ebay
This subset consists of 50 cards, but I was not able to find a player checklist. The rosters for the 2005 All Star game contained more than 50 players when reserves were included, and I did see a lot of 40 different that sold sometime back that included players from the list of reserves. As Wickman was never what you would call a ‘name’ player, it’s very possible he was not one of the 50.
Can’t confirm it one way or the other, though. You could try contacting Topps directly to see if the card exists. If it does, then it won’t be a very expensive card, and finding it is just a matter of waiting out eBay. Though, because Wickman toiled in relative obscurity most of his career, you may not see it listed by itself. You may have to search for ’2005 All Star Stitches’ and hope for a batch of them with the Wickman card included, and buy cards you don’t really want to get the one you do.
Many of us PSA Registry collectors have needed to do just that – buy groups of cards to get the one we want that we’ll rarely see listed otherwise.
