Is it possible to be pregnant with twins and not know it?

I am almost 27 weeks and everyone i see or talk to thinks i am huge and that i am carrying twins, I had my 20 wk ultrasound and no sign of twins just one baby boy, but could it be possible that i don’t know or that the doctors cant see the other one? Has this happened to anyone?

My mother in law but she didn’t have a u/s after the dating one. I don’t think you should think to much on it I get that alot because I’m growing so fast and bigger then I should be by 2 weeks. You may just have a big baby like me.
