Ufc Topps

how much is a complete set of topps ufc round 1 base cards worth?

With a suggested retail price of the “UFC: Round 1″ single packs originally resting at a price point of $5 per pack, the growth in popularity among collectors has pushed the actual price per pack into the reported price range of $7-$9 per pack on the secondary market…

The inflation of value (per pack) also transcends past the price of the unopened product. The singles within the base set are moving well on the secondary market, but it is the insert cards that are keeping the buzz sounding within the world of trading card collecting.

While the memorabilia cards have been luke-warm (a glut of other sports’ game-used product might be to blame) the real highlight with UFC fans, and collectors alike, has been the certified autograph issue inserts.

The representatives at Topps actually view and document each and every autograph that is signed by each fighter. In a world of fake sigs, this process of authentication is a must.

Some of the autographed insert cards, such as those signed by current star Georges St. Pierre and the legendary Royce Gracie, have peaked above $400 in recent eBay auctions.

The limited edition “red ink” signatures have become the holy grail among this set, however other “blue ink” signatures have also been trading at a rapid rate.
