Top Games Of The Last Few Decades

Today I want to play a gaming guessing game. The highest grossing games can be a surprise. We’ll see which games sell the best within five top genres. Pretty great. Like when viewing my Starcraft 2 T shirt. 

Ok let’s dive right in

It’s time to get sporty. A vast and expansive genre now. Ice hockey. Not Virtual Tennis. Could be a netball game. Nope. It is none other than Wii sports. The newcomer has gate crashed the party.

Shooter category. There’s only going to be a couple of choices here. It’s got to be non-console orientated. Bugs and glitches. 007. Definitely not. It’s Halo 3.

Let’s take a look at a giant. Role playing can be a great source of cash. Core crisis. A world beater. My favourite SC ll. Actually no. Nintendos Pokemon are the top sellers.

What do we have next. Strategy category. Chess is worldwide. So there can only be one winner. There can be only one. The ultimate Puzzle game. Tetris. Absolutely incredible.

Here we go now. It’s time to beat em up now. It simply could be one of many. Street Fighter Alpha is always going to be a good bet. Probably not going to be fatal fury. Of it’s smashbros brawl. Kind of a let down.

I didn’t expect those to be the top money makers. Games on cell phones are selling pretty well. It’s still a fight for the sells.

Lots of shocks and surprises then. What a shock. Consoe gaming is still the top earner over PC gaming. The big boys will be knocked off their perches. The online heavy weights will have something to say about these rankings. I think we’ve something here though. However good Starcraft 2 book and it’s comrades may be, you can’t beat the classics.
