Will the Yankees make the playoffs? Now tied for the Wild Card lead…?

Yankees are on fire, winning 19 of their last 26 since the all-star break. Tigers are struggling horribly, as they’ve lost 9 of 10 and 5 in a row. Yankees are now tied for the Wild Card with the Tigers, and just 6.5 back of the Red Sox. Do you think the Yankees will make the playoffs? A month ago they were 9.5 back of the Wild Card and looked finished. Many said Detroit and Cleveland were too strong and the Yankees could not get the Wild Card. Yankees are just playing so hot, everyone is hitting…Cano’s average is now up above .300, a month ago it was around .265. Abreu and Matsui are real hot, as is Johnny Damon. Yankees offense is just pounding other teams. 18 runs here, 21 runs there, 21 hits here…
So many people said the Yankees were finished! They said the Yanks didnt have a CHANCE to catch up to Cleveland/Detroit for the wild card! And we’re just 6.5 back of the BoSox too with 2 months left to play!
